During August, the regular prayer email is having a slight change in format. For each day there will be some prompts for your own prayers, as well as a country (or two) for which to pray.
In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. (Psalm 31, NIV)
What does it mean for us to say that God is a ‘rock of refuge’ or a ‘strong fortress’? As we face trouble and difficulty, what difference can it make to out lives?
You would be very welcome to join us at our 10:30am service in St Andrew, Cuffley, or at 8:30am for a service of Holy Communion in St Thomas, Northaw, this Sunday, as we look at Psalm 31 together.
Virtual Coffee Shop
This Wednesday, at 10:30, we'll be having our regular Virtual Coffee Shop, if you can join us for that, it would be great to see you.
We'll start at 10:30, and we're currently limited to a 40 minute maximum time.
If you’d like to be part of the meeting, please email me for details of how to join.
