I hope that these emails and prayers are useful, and that you are able to spend a few minutes at noon each day, as we pray together as a church family. Please do keep sending your prayer suggestions to me, so that we can make sure we are praying around the needs, burdens and encouragements of our whole church family.
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from my cries of anguish?
My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer,
by night, but I find no rest.” Psalm 22:1-2 (NIV)
Maybe these words have some resonance with you, as we look back over the past few months, perhaps you feel these words without COVID and lockdown. I hope that you'll be able to join us on Sunday, as we look at Psalm 22 together, and see how our God is not far from us, that he is the God who answers. Do please join us via Facebook, or at our 8:30 service (details below).).
We are very pleased, this Sunday, to be able to begin meeting together again in person. We are beginning this process very carefully and gradually, and still have to operate under constraints, so we hope that you will bear with us as we work out how best to meet together as the church family in Northaw and Cuffley.
I hope you have continued to pray with us together at noon, despite a short break from these emails during the vicar’s holiday. Here are the prayer suggestions for this week, including some prayers and verses from this year’s online Keswick Convention. Please do keep sending your prayer suggestions to me, so that we can make sure we are praying around the needs, burdens and encouragements of our whole church family.
Virtual Coffee Shop
This Wednesday, at 10:30, we'll be having our regular Virtual Coffee Shop, if you can join us for that, it would be great to see you.
