“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. (Mark 16:6, NIV)

What does it mean to follow Jesus? Mark’s gospel ends with an empty tomb, and the promise of Jesus’ resurrection. Mark doesn’t record the women at the tomb meeting Jesus, but they are told to believe his promises and to go and find him just where he said he would be.

What does it mean to follow Jesus? To believe what he said, and to know him.

I hope that you’ll be able to join us in-person or online this Sunday, as celebrate the resurrection of Jesus together.

Good Friday

Our Good Friday service is at 2pm at St Thomas, Northaw. This will be a service of readings and hymns as we mark Jesus’ crucifixion. This service will not be streamed or videoed.

The sermon will be recorded, and made available via SoundCloud.

Easter Sunday Services

You would be very welcome to join us at either of our in-person services this Sunday. Please note that there should be no indoor mixing with anyone not part of your household or support bubble. You can, however, have social contact outdoors under the rule of 6 (or two households).

Our 8:30am Sunday service of Holy Communion continues in St Thomas, Northaw.

The 10:30am Sunday service will be taking place simultaneously online and in-person at St Andrew.  Streaming for the 10:30am service will start at 10:25am, and can be accessed directly via Facebook or YouTube, found on our website, and is advertised on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.

For the first time in over 12 months, we will be singing together - our final hymn will be sung outside. There will then be a short service of Holy Communion.

If you are attending the 10:30am service, please indicate that using this form, or contact me directly (chris@norcuff.com, 07446 516945), to let me know that you are planning to attend.
