All services are now in St Thomas.

And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple. (Luke 14:27, NIV)

Over the past few weeks we've been seeing how amazing the Kingdom of God is: it changes lives, it changes communities, and it points to a future, perfect, eternal kingdom. Being part of this kingdom is open to everyone: there's no charge, no interview process, and no preferential treatment for some group. This has got to be the best news ever - forgiveness, peace with God, and eternal life, and it's all free. It does, however, require committment, there's no such things as a "part-time Christian!" Why not join us this Sunday as we see why even that is amazing news?

You would be very welcome at our 10:30am service in St Thomas, Northaw or at 9am for a service of Holy Communion in St Thomas, Northaw, this Sunday.

With our move to St Thomas, we haven't been able to get our streaming set up working. The internet available to use isn't good enough to stream from the church. We are still looking at solutions and, if we are able to put it in place, we will do so.

Children’s Church

Our children’s church meets this Sunday morning in Northaw School. Children are welcome from 10:20, and will join us in St Thomas towards the end of the service.

Back to St Andrew's

The 10:30 service will be at St Andrew from Sunday 28th September.

Vacancies

Following our annual meetings we have a vacancy for two churchwardens and one representatives on the Deanery Synod (and a treasurer). If you’d like to know more about them (without any commitment), please talk to Chris.

Rotas

We very much value and appreciate all the different people that welcome and help with refreshments, and the different voices that we hear from the front. We always welcome new people to these roles, even if infrequently, and we have some spaces at the moment. If you don’t already help, and this would be something you would like to do, please talk to Chris.

We’re currently using self-signup for the various rotas: blank rotas will be pinned up at the back of St Thomas. If you are one of our regular welcomers, readers, pray-ers, communion assistants, or refreshment helpers, please do sign up where you are able to.

Rotas for services in October and November are now available.

Sponsor a chair?

Would you be able to sponsor a new chair for St Andrew’s? Each chair will cost us around £80, and we would be very grateful for any donations towards the new chairs. You can give in the usual ways, please mark your donation as ‘Chairs’.

Heating work at St Andrew’s

The first stage of work at St Andrew’s is complete, and we will be back in the building from Sunday 28th September. The floor has been laid and the wiring is in place. You can follow the progress of the work online.

60 Years of St Andrew’s

The current St Andrew’s building was consecrated on 30th November, 1965. To mark and celebrate 60 years of the building, we are planning a range of events during the year, culminating in a service on 30th November 2025.

Bible Reading Resources

There are a lot of resources available online to help with Bible reading. A few of them are here, in case they are helpful for you.

Home Communion

If you’re not able to join us on Sundays, and would appreciate a visit with Holy Communion, please be in touch with Chris.
